Puppy Album

.... for a chuckle:

Hopefully, we have a litter due in October, 2016. You can read more about it here (plus photos!).
Please READ it. Most of your questions can be answered there.

About us:

We've been here in Shingle Springs, in beautiful El Dorado County, CA, since November 2000. After looking for a very LONG time, we finally found our dream-come-true. Five gorgeous FENCED acres with a tremendous house, barns and lots of HD and trailer parking - just right for our business, family and all our critters.

We are very happy here doing chores, raising our horses and dogs, watching the sun shine and enjoying the almost perfect California weather. Specifically, we breed Pembroke Welsh Corgis (PWC) and American Quarter Horses.

So far we've had four beautiful fillies, two colts and many litters of corgis. In May 2014 we welcomed our newest filly "Barbie," aka Barbieboonsmart by Peptoboonsmart out of our Montana Doc mare. Hopefully, she'll move on to the cutting horse circuit once she's a bit older. Also in the barn is our duo of trusty trail horses and we enjoy riding them nearby at the river, in the mountains, at the beach and horsecamping all over northern CA.

"Parker!"

CH Misty Ridge Rumblestiltskin, aka "Parker," came to us from CO, in Aug 2009. He learned all about going on "adventures," the house rules, guarding the homestead, the horses, cats and chickens, and how to chase the ball/stick/toy/whatever. He began his show career by winning Best Puppy in Show in Nov 2009, at the Napa Valley AKC show and then a 3 pt. major in Tucson, AZ, all from the 6-9 mo. puppy class (AKC).

At the Golden Gate PWC 2011 AKC Specialty in May, 2011, he was awarded RWD to a 5 pt major after winning a HUGE Open class against some incredible dogs, and then finished his AKC Championship a month later. Many of his offspring have done very well at corgi specialties around the country, with one finishing his AKC Championship at just 12 months of age at the 2014 PWCCA Nationals. Presently Parker has sired eight AKC Champions and we look forward to hearing of more in the future. Currently he has offspring in TX, WI, WA, CA, CO, AZ, IL, OR and Australia.

Parker is OFA Good and vWD, CERF, DM CLEAR and is fluff-factored. (Pedigree) (Available for Stud by Private Treaty / Shipped chilled semen also available.) (Stud Contract)

Parker is now enjoying his new job as my agility dog (competing at the AKC Masters level), occasional visits from his lady friends, and he ESPECIALLY LOVES going horseback riding with me! (In fact, if I leave without him, he gets really mad at me!)

.... for another chuckle:

For fun we like to go on Harley rides and camping with the dogs and horses. We have several trips planned this year, including a trip to the beach at Pt. Reyes National Seashore (videos) and some mountain trips in the Sierras. When we aren't raising foals and puppies, or competing in conformation, rally and agility trials, we are doing chores... ;-)
