CH Larklain Rogers Magic Marker, ROM is owned by Carol Swinney, who also owns CH Triple H Cal Ripken, ROM. Both dogs are well known sires and are proven producers."Marker" is vWD Clear, OFA Fair, CERF Normal and DM Carrier. He usually lives part-time in AZ and WY with Carol. He is red & white and was born Apr 22, 2001. His pedigree is stunning, with Honeyfox, Cinonnie, Magnum of Vennwoods and of course, Larklain featured prominently. "Marker" is from one of the very last litters bred by Carol together with her mother Elaine Erganbright. He finished his championship with 3 and 5 pt majors at 18 months of age.

The Larklain kennel name is a chunk of PWC history, started many years ago by the noted breeder Elaine Erganbright, who bred over 200 champion Pembroke Welsh Corgis. She established a line that was noted for its superb temperament and willing disposition as well as conformation that won time and again. Even after her passing, Elaine remains one of the top Corgi breeders in the USA, having produced more than 200 conformation Champions. Larklain dogs have earned more than 240 performance titles. Her daughter Carol continues with the Larklain name and has succeeded in adding to its enduring stamp of excellence. Although Carol travels a lot and works primarily as a professional artist, she still breeds and shows Pembrokes selectively.
In Fall 2007, she finished an AKC championship on her "Marker" daughter, CH Larklain Markers Little Jedda, a gorgeous bitch out of CH Larklain Leaders Tres Jolie. She bred "Jedda" to her other lovely stud dog, Ch. Triple H Cal Ripken, ROM, which produced Larklain Cal's Just a Doll, who finished her AKC championship and when linebred back to "Marker," produced two STUNNINGLY gorgeous show pups, both already finished - CH Larklain Markers Ever the Flirt and GCh Larklain Markers Eye in the Sky, aka "Dreamer," who was awarded First Award of Excellence at the 2012 AKC Eukanuba National Championships.
Always and along the way, Carol, a generous soul, spends quite a bit of time on the show circuit supporting her friends, winning many many more points, finishing championships on other "Marker" and "Cal" offspring.
